We are delighted to be open and welcoming our members and locals back to Thornham. We will be open for outside service when there is cricket on – please check our website for fixtures. Given the circumstances, there are certain Government restrictions that we have to adhere to in order to keep everybody safe. To be clear – the Club and our volunteers do not like the restrictions any more than you do as customers, so do not complain to them – it will get you nowhere. Please see below the specific limitations that we are working to:

Social distancing should still be maintained from everyone not in your household / support bubble
Rule of six or two households applies
Customers must be seated at tables when ordering and consuming their drinks
Drinks are not to be taken away from the patio area – i.e. if you do a ‘lap’ you cannot take your drink.
Table service is being operated by our fabulous volunteers
Card payment is preferred but cash can be taken if necessary
If the tables are full, please do not be offended if we refuse you service – we are not allowed to do otherwise
Toilets are in use via a one way system. You MUST wear a mask when going to the bathroom (unless you have a medical exemption)
If you are using the club grounds for your exercise, or a picnic, we respectfully request that you stay away from the patio/bar

At all times, please remember that our staff are volunteers and MUST be respected. Abuse or disrespect will not be tolerated – but good tips are always appreciated!
